CEM becomes a Cambridge school

For the academic year 2023-2024, CEM becomes a Cambridge School. This new stage represents an important step in our constant improvement in the learning of English  and the recognition of obtaining an official language qualification for all our students.

Membership of the Cambridge programme gives us the opportunity to work with a world-renowned pedagogical approach. This means that our students will benefit from up-to-date teaching materials, quality teaching resources and a methodology that promotes critical thinking, creativity and effective communication in the English language. Equally, it will give them valuable experience of taking formal examinations and help them develop key skills such as time management, problem solving and the ability to communicate effectively in assessment situations.

From September 2023, we will be implementing 5 English modules per week, with one specifically dedicated to Cambridge preparation in 6th year PE and 1st ESO, and two modules for 2nd, 3rd and 4th ESO. Classes will be divided into smaller groups, which will allow our teachers to focus on the individual needs of the students and increase their participation in the learning process.

We expect that, by the end of the 2023-2024 academic year, most of our 3rd and 4th ESO students will be ready to take the B2, C1 or C2 exams.

For our Baccalaureate students, extra-curricular classes will continue to be available in the afternoon, giving them more opportunities to perfect their English.

Preparing our students for a future full of opportunities. .
