As well as offering ballet and judo classes during the school day, the Colegio Europeo de Madrid also offers a wide range of extracurricular activities and after-class clubs, run by teachers or other professionals, from Monday to Friday.
The extracurricular programme is an integral part of the rich curriculum that we offer our students. An extensive range of activities is offered and the aim of the extracurricular programme is to provide students with the necessary experience to help them achieve the educational goals that have been set.
Remember that the registration process for each of these activities is open throughout the year. Send us an email at extraescolares@educacem.com and we will contact you.
Extracurricular activities give students a fantastic opportunity to achieve “whole-person” development.
Judo, football, fencing and volleyball clubs also prepare their students to participate in external competitions. Furthermore, teachers from each of the activities organise their own events and encourage their pupils to attend other events with the purpose of expanding the contact and the activity knowledge. Both in competitions and in the diferent events, the students are accompained by their respective monitors.
Along the year, we also organise performances with the different dances, piano and violin. The purpose of showing what the children have learnt during the year, it is also to practice public performing, an ability that is worked at CEM from Infants through drama activities and Philosophy for Kids and later through different debate modalities.
