Educational excellence represents everything we stand for and is essential to the smooth running of our centres. We are looking for people who want to bring a differential and positive approach to children’s lives, who help us to support and encourage them so that, day by day, they can improve themselves.
In any selection process, our aim is to give candidates a true picture of the centre, the position and the people they will be working with.
Depending on the position, the selection process for teaching positions includes:
- Submission of the application form, CV and covering letter to firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Visiting the school.
- Teaching a class.
- Competency-based interview.
In line with Cognita, the school is committed to improving standards of education and we want to ensure that best practice is applied in all areas of curriculum, teaching and learning, as well as in the management of the school. Whether we are able to achieve these goals depends entirely on the talents of our staff. For this reason, we are committed to recruiting and retaining the best talent: teachers and principals who are passionate about their work.
Cognita Schools is committed to protecting and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all employees, volunteers and third parties to share this commitment. Before any recruitment or appointment is confirmed, safe recruitment practices will be applied and background checks will be carried out to the extent permitted by law. All recruitment will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check for regulated activities if the candidate is resident in the UK, or criminal or police background checks for all other countries in which the candidate has lived (whether or not they have worked there).
